Norfolk Southern train #305 is westbound out of Columbus on this hazy, hot and humid afternoon. Spied third out in the consist is an ex-SOO Line SD60, a visitor not as comon as the UP or BNSF...

ex? It's still Soo Line :) (I only say this so people don't think CP sold it)

Air Conditioning unit, and these spartan cab Dash9s like NS has, have the name "Top Hat" due to the Air Conditioning unit on the top making it look like it's wearing a tophat.

You catch the virgin SP 146 leading a K888 down there on Friday? Should have been leading a pair of UP units. I must say, they got the right unit in the lead.
