Model Railroading > Bowser Also Affected by Factory ClosureDate: 07/30/18 09:32 Bowser Also Affected by Factory Closure Author: MarkG Folks,
Got this in the email box today. I posted this here as the other thread has drifted off to a completely different subject: "Bowser has been informed that our supplier has closed the factory. We are working to find other suppliers but it is a long process. All delivery dates are TBA. Any new information will be posted on our web site <www.bowser-trains.com>. Thank you for all the support of our products." best regards, Mark G. Date: 07/30/18 09:50 Re: Bowser Also Affected by Factory Closure Author: rschonfelder There are others. I am told that the company closing is called AFFA and they have done *or* currently do work for Atlas and Bowser as has already been mentioned. Others are Exactrail, Tangent, Intermountain, Fox Valley and Trainworx. No word on which European or other companies.
From my standpoint, this must be the company that delivered all of their locos in those nice cradles where the loco is screwed in via the bottom of the fuel tank and then had a clear front and back followed by the clear sleeve. I thought it was a good design. Rick Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 07/30/18 10:19 by rschonfelder. Very informative posting by Jason/RapidoTrains in the earlier Factory Closure thread... I was speaking with customer service/tech support at one company and they apparently are laying off employees.
