old made new
Author: santafedan

I was given some (3)old grain elevator models. They are scratch built and seem pretty old and not a lot of detail or real care in the quality. In fact part of the long part on top of the bins is made from a yard stick. I have repainted two of them and they look a lot better.
Here are some images showing what two of them look like. The Periwinkle Feeds is the repainted one and the other "undec" is what it looked like before. The third one is already on a layout. I painted the building red with grey trim.
Sorry DNUCK about the DOF.

In case you were wondering. The name of the ownere is Pery. Hence the name Perywinkle in the large sign.

OK, but why is it spelled differently (correctly for the flower) on the small sign?

They wanted the logo to be the flower and the interplay of the words helps to remember the product. Advertising is a tricky business.
