It ran perfectly, tracked very well-no derailments, and the sound wass right on the money. It pulled 25 cars up a 2% grade, and 50 cars on level track. All the N-gaugers were very impressed and are planning to buy more, as more paint schemes come out. They hope that the same engineering goes into the N-scale Athearn Big Boy.

Author: 3985 One of the hobby shop owners at the Bay State open house heard from reliable sources that Athearn is planning to do the Big Boy also, but it may be 1-2 years away. I have not seen anything official yet, but this guy is very reliable.
