Model Railroading > 1996 Olympic Units

Hi,
I am modelling the 2-UP SD40-2 1996 Olympic units
using Kato SD40-2's and Microscale decals and the problem
I am having is matching the Green paint. Microscale
suggest C&NW Green but I have compared this colour to
the Overland units(who describe the colour as Georgia Green)
of a friend, and the C&NW Green is a lot
darker. Has anyone done these units? and if so what paint
colour did you use? or any help would be gratefully received.

from my understanding up used cnw green paint to paint these units. I painted my units with cnw green from pollyscale and they look right to me.

I used Scalecoat C&NW green.


TCS - color is subjective.
