That building has excellent kitbash possibilities.

But what is Middlesex? Half man/half woman?

That 48' all purpose well car is a surprise! I wonder if Atlas has plans for 28' trailers or 48' containers?

I wonder on the 48' well cars. The Walthers ones were cast metal. I hope these are at least mostly metal and not plastic like the A-Line or old Rail Power (now Athearn) ones.

Ted,

The well car is the announced but never-released tooling developed by Detail Associates several years ago. Possibly upgraded, I don't know, but it should be top notch and will include etched goodies. No news (yet) on 28' trailers or 48' containers from Atlas.

I expect this will be mostly styrene and I'm not sure how they are dealing with weight. If it has a styrene body I'm happy as it makes adding grabs and other detail soooo much easier. I never bought any Walthers cars (which are the same prototype) for that reason.

I just wish they'd done BN and not BNSF/patched BN in the first release. Oh well, that's what undecs and decals are for!

I like the new building too. This provides an alternative to the standard Walthers formula for building walls: "paired/double windows separated by brick pilasters". Nice to have a flat-walled brick building with repeating single windows...like most brick buildings in the 1:1 world.

Maybe a square-window building will be next from Atlas? Generic is good!
