Model Railroading > Walthers Obs Car and DCCDate: 01/04/09 00:04 Walthers Obs Car and DCC Author: Charles I would like to put a decoder in the Walthers Great Northern Observation car that I have. Any suggestions on how to go about it. I prefer TCS decoders, the basic install should be the same.

Just attach the red and black wires to those tabs. Then run your lights. Sorry, I don't have that exact car so I can't give you more specifics.

With DCC it is nice to be able to turn off the lights when they are in a yard. Also you can get a single aux. out type decodrder at a very reasonable price.
