O Scale Bridge
Author: DKay

After seeing Engine3420's great effort of building narrow gauge freight cars in O scale ,I thought I would post a couple of pics of my efforts in that scale.I am thinking the wood(Mt Albert) could be stained a bit darker on future projects.Still need to install loads of NBW details ,and some truss rods.
Regards,Daryl Kay.

I got a tip on some thing I learned the hard way. Someone makes rust colored NBW castings, so if you weather the wood, paint it etc. and put them on last, it makes it a lot easier and looks good.

Several of us have been preaching Proto 48 for years and you hear
people in smaller scales talk about how expensive it is, well try
filling the same amount of space with N Scale, you'll go broke! Very
nice model, it'll look great with the hardware added. The other area
where we've had success is in switching or small bench layouts in
1/4", very impressive looking in small space, big buildings look
even bigger on a shelf layout.
