A Small Depot
Author: SPGP9

My mother's family lived in Waukesha, Wisconsin for ages (since before 1900 at least). On one visit, I took the time to rove around town and came across this small C&NW Depot that I thought would make a good model. The attached photos were taken with a Kodak Instamatic and I had to do a little artwork on the third photo as I couldn't get back far enough to get it all in. However, it is representative of the actual building and I hope some of you might find it useful. Incidentally, the pictures were taken in April of 1971.

Looks like two 40 foot containers welded together.

It's a great depot to model.

2 containers would make this easy to make, accept the ripple is on the medal is more a bigger width than a regular container.

It is very utilitarian.

I can't imagine ads for "Employers Insurance of Waukesha"
