Model Railroading > No more commercial HOn3 track?

I was at my LHS a couple hours ago. Among other things, I was looking for a section of HOn3 flextrack. There wasn't any in stock, so the owner sold me one out of his private stash. We happened to start talking about it, and he mentioned that Micro Engineering recently decided to stop making HOn3 and HOn30 track.

Is this for real? There's no mention of it on ME's site that I can find, and HOn3 flextrack still shows on the "Products" page.

Last time I spoke with ME they did not say anything about discontinuing HOn3 flex track.

If anything, you would think there is a shot in the arm to HOn3 modeling with those excellent models coming from Blackstone.

April 2010 Model Railroader has their Micro Engineering ad on page 13, and plenty of HOn3 and On3 track items are listed. On page 14, MR does a brief review on the new ME HOne code 70 turnouts.

I think there is going to be a run on "milk and bread" regardless...

Good for MicroEngineering. I hope they produce more types of switches in normal HO standard gauge.

They are listing several code sizes for HOn3 on their web site. ( http://www.microengineering.com/products_ft.htm ) And since they just got the thing up and running I would bet that they are still making it.
