I couldn't help but notice a BLI DC Master Analog Control Module sitting on top of your MRC Power pack. Obviously you have a BLI sound equipped engine or two on your layout. How do you like the operation of this Control Module? I just bought my first BLI engine with sound, an NW-2. While the sounds are great, they are a little on the loud side. This I'm told can be adjusted with this module, or on a DCC controlled layout. What I want to do is use this module to set everything up on my engines, and then use an MRC "Black Box" to run the engine. I also have to work on the start-up and shut down as this engine wants to do the "Herky-jerky" on start-up, but then smooths out once it gets moving Hopefully I can fix this too...? I'm not sure it will work, but it should. What are your thoughts? (And keep those photos coming please!) cf7 Date: 06/02/10 12:03 Re: recent pics of our HO layout Author: photoguycookin we dont like it, but in a year or less we will convert to DCC, but thanks for the comments and the next pics post will be from other areas on the layout, to make a broad mainline curve we had to make holes on 2 side of the room so that the mainlines go through the wall and come out on the other side of the room, it always surprises our visitors to see a 24 car train disappear in the wall then emerge on the other side of the room!
