Author: wabash2800 I just asked you to solder the pilot back on my Wabash, Halmark 4-8-2 and now it is pulling 25 cars up a 2% grade on curves too boot...LOL Before it could only pull 10! And I think the weight for the boiler is still in the box!

It will take a while but the rail will eventually smooth out and traction will fall back to normal after a lot of cars pass over it. You might want to lube the motor and gear box and axel bearings. It squeaks and also it really hums.
