San Diego area clubs and shops
Author: CCT41

Howdy,
my employer is sending me to our San Diego office to work for a few years. I was wondering what the hobby shop situation is in the San Diego area? Also, are there any HOn3 clubs or groups in the area?

Thanks,
John

Whistle Stop on Fifth St in Hillcrest area is the best, imho. And don't miss the San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park. Awesome!

Just as an FYI to the group, select Siemens for your local light rail supplier
and John will come to your town.

About an hour north in Westminster Arnies Trains is a nice treat sometimes they acquire estates and have an assortment of 2nd hand stuff they have a mailing list to notify you of when sales and closeouts occur. Swap meets at the San Diego Model Railroad museum are also good fun. All about the thrill of the hunt! Hope you enjoy our Town!
