Model Railroading > Proto 2000 GP-60 decoderDate: 11/30/11 21:11 Proto 2000 GP-60 decoder Author: kdrtrains Greetings
Is there a website that recomends what decoders will work for what locomotives. Loy's Toys was a great location for determining decoder use by locomotive. Not any more! I need to install a decoder in a Proto 2000 GP-60. I would prefer to use an NCE. I also do not mind hard wiring the decoder and not using the quick plug since the bulbs are being replaced with LEDs. What is the best decoder for this unit? Thanks KR Date: 11/30/11 21:49 Re: Proto 2000 GP-60 decoder Author: rminer Try this. It's the NCE decoder/locomotive suggested listing on the NCE site. Listed under "Documents Archived", then "Decoder use list".
