3 days in 91% alcohol and the paint just fell off...well, with just a little scrubbing with a medium toothbrush..

oohh Gandy you have it all wrong ... everyone LOVES a SMARTASS ... what people don't like is a DUMBASS !!! DOH !!!

A stripper that gets it off the fastest keeps us all happier! End of story, nothing to complain about....

I prefer alcohol, as it tends to be less expensive for the task at hand regarding MTH, Athearn, and Atlas. Now Kato, that involves something more.

I just finished stipping a CSX unit and 2 UP's to do PC and my experience mirrors SP's - 91% alcohol for about 3 or 4 days. Then a small scrub brush/toothbrush and off it all came. Make sure to remove the printed plastic insers behind the rear air inlets - I replaced mine with etched screen - and mind the fan grilles and wipers, to make sure they are not lost. Ditto the pilot details.
