The tradition of crap continues.... In fairness, with the absence of decoration on that trailer, and the schemes announced for both trailer and flat, that's likely just a development sample. Let's save our excitement for the newly revamped HO scale Bachmann F7!! Wooooo!!! =) <Sarcasm!!> Cheers, Harry Date: 08/03/12 10:49 Re: NMRA Announcements Author: NYSW1904 BLMA is doing a nice signal bridge. Looking forward to its arrival!!!!

The tradition of crap continues.... Like tracktime said, I would certainly wait to see a painted sample before making any judgements. Date: 08/03/12 11:15 Re: NMRA Announcements Author: funnelfan Actually I was thinking the Bachmann trailer looked like a real nice model myself. Granted it's too old for my modeling, but if you model Intermodal between 1960 and 1970, that could be a real boon. Too bad they didn't make a all new flatcar for it!

LOL yours John Ruehle Date: 08/03/12 12:09 Re: NMRA Announcements Author: Tony_Cook I spoke with Lee Riley from Bachmann. The 35' Trailer is based on a Strick prototype. The flat car deck is based on a Western Maryland prototype. The orange color is due to it being a test shot. This example shown at the NMRA Show is an pre-production sample only.

Uncle Joe Date: 08/03/12 12:13 Re: NMRA Announcements Author: Tony_Cook ExactRail announced a Trenton Works 67'-11" Bulkhead Flat Car at today's NMRA Show. Looks like both N- and HO-scale examples will be offered. The yellow pre-production model shown is HO-scale. No info on delivery date, pricing, roadnames. Will check.
Date: 08/03/12 12:14 Re: NMRA Announcements Author: twin_star_rocket Damn shame Kato has abandoned HO, only giving us new paint schemes on old product.
If they're going to do that, at least do something people will buy, like the ATSF pre-'72 paint scheme on SD-45s! Brian Ehni |
