Jim Date: 11/13/12 03:31 Re: Rush hour at John'sville-Delaware Valley Traction Author: birdman The scale is 1:24 or 1/2 inch to the foot. The gauge is 2.5 inches which is very close to PA broad gauge. The rail is code 148. The ties are made from popsicle sticks with the rounded ends cut off. There are about 5200 ties on the layout. The cars are scratch built and run off of the overhead wire. The layout measures 42' x 16'.
