Model Railroading > Intermountain Peabody Coal U18B's Real or Fantasy?Date: 11/16/12 08:46 Intermountain Peabody Coal U18B's Real or Fantasy? Author: AustralianTerrier Intermountain has announced its doing U18B's in Peabody's cream and aqua lettered for the Lynnville Mine. I can't find ANY photographs or documentation that Peabody has ever owned U18B's. So are these models of actual units or fantasy to fill out a production run?

Based on the Wiki entry for the U18B, I believe this scheme to be a fantasy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GE_U18B Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/16/12 08:52 by toledopatch.
