Santa Fe SD45-2B
Author: WS

Few weeks ago i had the opportunity to acquire an OMI Santa Fe SD45-2B unit. After digitalising with a Tsunami decoder and some weathering, I put it to my layout together with a pair GP60 and a Dash8-40B.

Have fun,
Stefan

Wonderful! Nothing like a B unit to spice up a consist.

Cheers,

How about some phots of your layout? Everything looks good from what I see.

Very nice. Great to see a big B unit in the consist. Adds to the feel of realism. I loved those things, expecially the "hammerheads" with the flares on the end of the carbody. Thanx for posting.

Kind of reminds me of the one that I've seen at the Livingston Rebuild Center in Montana.

Zak Gardner / Glendora, CA.

That poor thing is looking a bit lonely there. How long ago was that picture taken of the 7508?

Great looking layout. Especially like the engine service area and yard. Great job, thanks for sharing.

Your models look terrific. I've never seen an SD45-2B model before and it's really interesting. You're lucky to have one!
