D&RGW Prospector

Sometimes you hang the prototype, and you go with what you have.
So, what we have here are 72 foot models. Athearn RTR F7s, (Undergoing mods), a Athearn Round Roof coach, two Con-cor domes. two Athearn Sleepers, and a Con-Cor tail car. I added the jeweled brake light and the Main Line thru the Rockies tail sign.
They aren't prototypical, but it's a fun looking train!

Works better as the Ski Train right before the heavyweights went to the Wine Train. Ditch one dome and place the other in front of the observation, add a Rapido DRGW steam jenny behind the lokies.

No. I just wanted to use natural sunlight. I usually stay out of the sun, but it makes for good photos.

Kind of looks like the area from Price to Grand Junction, CO!
