So the world isn't ending after all. LOL.
But it will be convenient to have those colors, and the Testors Acryl airbrushes just fine.

That's a really fine list of the core colors that would have been most greatly missed. I'm pleased to see this.

Seems Testor's is on the ball after all. We should have a new forum: Rush to Judgment. But then traffic on all the rest of the forums would fall down to near zero. :-)

Not so sure about that. Initially Testors had NO plans to transport any of the discontinued colors into any other line of paint. They received a very large amount of negative feedback about their move to discontinue Floquil and Polly Scale. Perhaps all that push back convinced them to move these core colors over. If they are serious about this they should move the same colors over to the Model Master line for those of us who prefer solvent based paints.

Do you guys realize how easy it is to get to some of the earthy colours using tubes so acrylic? It may not be 100 percent but it is so easy.

Just getting back into RR modeling.

Are there other sources for model RR paint?

For those of us on a budget, paying nearly $950 a gallon for paint seems
a bit much.

Advice, counsel sought.

Be Well,

badger modelflex isnt too bad if you are willing to have patience. Over a decade since I used it, mostly because polyscale was avail locally but its decent

Microscale has published a list of alternatives: http://www.microscale.com/ResourceCntr_Floquil.html

The sky is not falling, after all.

It's nice to see that Testors will have some of the common "generic" colors available. I think it's because of the buzz around the various modelers forums.

Those are also colors applicable to a wide range of modeling projects. Unlike CNW Zito shades and other railroad-specific mixes.
