Model Railroading > Magnalock Brake LinesDate: 08/02/13 12:45 Magnalock Brake Lines Author: v1perfan Good afternoon, all.
While I was on the Internet researching some new locomotives, I came across this website that advertises "magnalock" magnetic brake lines. Apparently it's supposed to bring your model train realism to a whole new level as the brake lines operate like real systems. Check it out: http://www.pwrs.ca/view_product.php?ProductID=213983 I am by no way affiliated with the company - I just thought it was a neat idea! Brian. EDIT - I didn't find any information on this technology in searching the site - if it's a rehash I apologize. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/02/13 12:46 by v1perfan. Also, Their installation video is on YOUTUBE. You'll have to do a search cuz I can't remember youtube address. Although I do wonder a bit about their suggested installations. Ideally I would try to find some plastic brake lines with a modeled angle cock, and then cut off the "hose" beyond the cock and replace it with these.

The rep from PWRS quoted me $34.50 / pack of twenty hoses. I inquired about bulk pack for more thsn 250 cars and the price was the same. Maybe he was quoting Canadian prices....
