Southern Pacific narrow gauge

This is the first time I have put this Scratch built S.P. tain on the layout. Number 9 is a Sunset redetailed with the domes repositioned to their correct spacing. Cars a built of wood and styrene or a combination thereof.

Wow, that train looks great. Certainly appears the rolling stock has spent some time baking in the Owen's Valley.

Didn't know about that. About what time period would this have happened?
Also do you know of any photos, or further info about these these trains?
