Model Railroading > A future Dunsmuir coming to Redding CaliforniaDate: 01/13/14 18:03 A future Dunsmuir coming to Redding California Author: photobob You have to start somewhere in this case it is the Dunsmuir Turntable. A friend of mine is about to start a major layout construction project. He is building an HO layout depicting the SP running from just south of Dunsmuir to just past Black Butte. The first spike has yet to be driven but if the turntable is a sample of what the modeling will be like it should be an exciting operation. He will be modeling both the late steam and first and second generation diesel era. He constructed the building to house the layout which is located in the rear of his home. I will keep everyone informed of the progress on this project.
