Scale drawings from a photo

Some weeks/months ago ,there was a post outlining the process of doing scale drawings from a photo .It the case of this thread ,I believe the known dimension was a standard door.I think there was some element of photoshop that did all the hard work.I have done a search ,but come up with nothing.Can someone point me in the right direction.

Hey, look! I know the guy that did that one!

For the record, the key sentence in all of that is "in Corel PaintShop Pro, I squared up the image to correct for any distortion in the image." If you don't square up the image, the top corners of the building will be narrower than those at the bottom.
