Well car scare last night

Last night about 1130 pm I decided to change out the wheels on a Athearn well car set, all ok til I couldn't find 1 yellow bogey adapter, after 20 minutes I found it, Q now is do you fellow modelers glue this to your bogey's, TIA, Ed

Are you talking about the part that goes around the bolster of the intermediate trucks? I haven't had any issues just leaving it unglued.
