Just noticed MB Klein's has the Genesis GP50's in stock;

I have one on order through a local shop.

What's the story with the non-sound BN 3110 "creamsicle?" Are these sold out or have they not been shipped?

They have been shipped. Got mine last week from my dealer in Jeannette, Pa.

One? Thats weak sauce! You need 3 on a hot shot pig train!

I am not sure if I can justify 1 of these. I'm modeling the BN from 88-92 but the secondary Iowa lines with a slight spin. Was these units ever set into local or other lessor jobs during then? These units always seem to be the dragsters on the intermodals during then.

Well, it's your layout so you can fudge the appearance of the
"creamsicle" GP50. However, there was only one of these paint
jobs so getting three is big time overkill. Just sayin'.

On the other hand, if prototype accuracy matters, then no, I wouldn't expect to see any GP50s on the Iowa branchlines in the early 1990s.
