Bob Date: 08/20/14 19:44 Re: Southbound MTYs Author: Krokodil Superb modelling, assume its HO scale? Do you have more layout pictures?
Thomas Eckhardt http//:tewe.borail.net Date: 08/20/14 20:53 Re: Southbound MTYs Author: dcmkris Yes, very nice modeling. I really like the subtle weathering on the F unit.
Please post more of the layout when you get a chance. Kris Date: 08/20/14 21:22 Re: Southbound MTYs Author: Splitrock323 Simple, yet classy and classic.
Well done. Thomas G. Date: 08/21/14 06:11 Re: Southbound MTYs Author: bigkidpgh thanks for the compliment Tom - I wish my pike was as far along as your beautiful layout - alas i'm only about 50% complete scenery-wise. My 10' X 20' layout is loosely based on the B&O's FM&P line between Connellsville, PA and Fairmont, WV, - the next scene to complete is a beehive coke oven operation - those were so very prevalent in the SW PA area along the FM&P - the Shoaf, PA ovens lasted until the early 70's - so not unprototypical for my modeling era!
