Model Railroading > MRL coal train on the SCMRR ClubDate: 10/17/14 04:09 MRL coal train on the SCMRR Club Author: acltrainman Here you see my MRL BNSF coal train on the unfinished trestle, bridge setup on the SCMRR Club layout in Largo, FL. IT's a work in progress on a double deck layout. The old layout came down in early 2013 and with in a few months we had the double deck done and running trains. A long way to go yet but were getting a lot of progress pretty quick. This is the HO layout. We also have an N gauge layout also in the building.

I was against the Hell Gate Bridge from the old layout but I think it works pretty well with the newly constructed trestle work on the approaches. Eventualy there will be a river from the divider crossing under the double track mainlines and the under the big bridge. All the bridges and trestle work on the layout is done by one of our members and he does custom bridges. Fantastic work I must say.

Nice looking layout you guys have going there. Looking at the Facebook pics it appears it is located in a warehouse or other large space building, do you guys own it? I really like the passenger depot. Kris Date: 10/18/14 04:30 Re: MRL coal train on the SCMRR Club Author: acltrainman No,
Been a renter for over 20 years I think. I've only been a member since 10/2005. Shot is from 04/2013 when demolition almost done. Stanley Jackowski Valrico, FL Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/18/14 04:32 by acltrainman. |
