Brass Buyers Guide

I recently purchased some old copies of the Brass Buyers Guide produced by "Bob Brass" and Balls of Brass. Does anyone know the years that this was produced and how many issues? Thank you.

I think it is still maintained by Dan Glasure.

Is this the same thing?

I stand corrected. I have been told Dan Glasure has the entire collection. I don't THINK he has continued the series but he does offer a brass guide in book form in 2 volumes.

It is my understanding that the book is obsolete, however there is a online version on his site brasstrains.com.

It was published by John Winston in the 80's
Began free then subscription
Monthly commentary and review of new models.
His brass business was named Balls of Brass!

While I find the books useful to find what models were done, I always felt the entire series of books were done to artificially inflate the price of brass models so sellers could inflate the prices when they went to sold them.
