Reminds me of a GP9 that used to switch freight cars along the line that ran between the wye in down town Davis California and the Hunt Wesson tomato cannery plant in north-Davis. As I recall, those were mainly tank cars, maybe full of tomato juice!

Ah, I miss waking up in the early Davis morning and smelling the fragrance of bubbling tomato sauce coming from the Hunt cannery--just like my "Noni" would start preparing every morning for the evening meal that always included a bowl of pasta. I lived there from 1971 through about the early 1980's, but don't recall the cylindrical hoppers. I do definitely recall the smell of tomato soup in the air in the fall!
