Another fine decal for airslides of an obscure company... from Dan Kolhberg...

Is that a revised Walthers model or brass?

I think he uses Rail Graphics for his decals doesn't he? They are very nice. I have bought a set of his ICG decals to do a Hi-Tech Baby High cube but that project is sitting awaiting me.

Did you buy a undec airslide from Athearn? I used to think the E&B Valley kit was the best rendition of this car and for years it was way ahead of its' time as a early 80ies tooling example if you replaced the roofwalk. Athearn really raised the bar on this model though.

It really is nice to get a decal down though isn't it?

Hi Rick.. I had a couple of Athearn airslides that I stripped off the lettering (I forget what railroad they were) and repainted to do this project.. I have another airslide for the Kansas Milling Company on the work bench...

I really enjoyed your "ROSS" cars. I lived in Wichita for 25 years and has taken many photos of the ROSS cars. Thanks for sharing. wag216

It just goes to show you, some of Athearns RTR models are quite nice.
