Albrae Models' HO scale brass Southern Pacific steel flangers are here and going fast! We received them in September... they've been flying out the door ever since! Espee's flangers played an important part in the snow and ice removal process over Donner Pass, around Mt. Shasta, and in Oregon's Cascade range. Here's your opportunity to add these interesting pieces of equipment to your HO scale layout!

Albrae Models AB-403, SPMW flanger #326, is currently sold out! The other three road numbers are still available, however, quantities are VERY limited! As promised, only 50 of each road number were built.

Our models are factory painted and lettered with the following features:

- Brass construction
- Code-88 tread semi-finescale nickel silver wheel sets
- Post-1970s to 2000 appearance
- Rooftop "ground plane" antenna stand
- Flanger blade indicator paddles
- Non-functioning "frog eye" marker lights
- Non-functioning rooftop spotlight
- Kadee #158 "scale" self-centering whisker couplers

AB-401 through AB-403 feature a pair of stiffening ribs on one side. AB-404, representing SPMW flanger #329 based at Oakridge, OR, does not have the ribs and thus is slightly different. Contact your Albrae Models dealer or order direct.

Perhaps you noticed two new SKU numbers for SPMW steel flangers: #319 and #331. SPMW #319 will have the two stiffening ribs... SPMW #331 will not. We hope to produce those two after the current stock sells out. Like the previous four road numbers, only 50 of each will be offered. Reserve yours soon!
