Sacramento Train show this weekend (Feb 28 - Mar 1)
Author: RyanWilkerson

For those within driving distance of Sacramento, there is a train show coming up this weekend. I'll be setting up a few FreeMo-N modules as part of the Silicon Valley FreeMo-N group.
There will be other layouts in different scales and of course many vendors. The show is being held at Cal Expo and kids 11 and under are free...see all details on their website:

Added some photos of the first phase of setup this evening...

$10.00 or more to park?? Not for me. I rather support Western Depot no charge to get in and free parking and friendly knowledgeable service.

That's standard at Cal Expo events. I would bet the train show has no say on that.
There is street parking across the street if you don't mind walking an extra few minutes.

I went there. I bought some old Athearn Blue Box cars
that had Kadee's and metal wheels for $5 each. My friend
found an Athearn RTR engine that was released seven
years ago for $85. We each found things we wouldn't find
in a LHS. After lunch, we went to a LHS to buy decoders
and other things we couldn't find at the show.
