Hello, I haven't seen this before and don't know about B&O's practices in that era, can someone tell me if B&O actually had the "XM" initials as part of those car numbers? The only time I've seen that on other RRs was in cases where cars were only for company service (MOW, mechanical, etc), not revenue and/or interchange service. I am not a huge stickler in that regard. It fills a need and that is it.
