Livin' Large - steam to diesel transition era
Author: WrongWayMurphy

I love steam and thoroughly enjoy my St L. S-W ten-wheeler #669 but was
kind of envious of guys who can just turn a key an motor down the track so
i found a used gas powered RS3, took the shell to a local hot rod painter and
told him to give it the black widow treatment (gave him an O scale model to
follow) and ordered vinyl stickers from Miracle Graphics which I applied this
past Thursday.  Its nice to have options.

Isn't that pretty much what happened on the real railways?

Gorgeous paint job on the RS-3.   Nice job.

I have at least four simultaneous projects in the shop getting ready for train mountain.  No shortage of things to do...
