Model Railroading > Best HO scale D&RGW stock car/caboose standard gaugeDate: 04/15/15 23:00 Best HO scale D&RGW stock car/caboose standard gauge Author: brc600 Stock car-wise, I have a few Tyco/Mantua ones and an Athearn one. Caboose-wise, I have several Athearn ATSF style, the RI style extended vision and ATlas extended vision (Reading/Conrail prototype).
I am intrigued by the Accurail stock cars. Are these even close? What manufacturer is the best/closest for both cabooses and stock cars? Thanks! Caboose, probably the walthers wood caboose they did a few years ago, again they are not right, but they "feel" right, or at least more right than anything else. The wide visions are pretty close too, I think but much too late for me.
