Ripples in a still pond Author: markloos To add interest to a still water pond you can add small lines of plaster to the pond bottom, then paint the bottom green and finish off with clear resin or Woodland Scenics water. I added the BN red engine to better highlight the reflection. Now if I can just get control of those pesky HO scale mosquitoes…… Mark <><

It is indeed self leveling and the top of the pond is level. What you are seeing is the small plaster ripple lines just below the surface. Entire depth of the pond is about 1/4" at it's deepest. I use just enough "water" to cover the ripples. What you are seeing is the illusion of ripples caused by the overhead lighting. Mark <><
