Anyone know what would be the correct Air Horn for the IC SD28's?
Thanks

Offhand, it looks like a Nathan P5 is the choice for their time on IC...If you are modeling them when they came off the COlumbus and Greenville, then that'd be a Leslie Supertyphon 3-chime.  Here's a link to this small group of SD's specs:

As the previous poster stated, it appears that they were delivered to the C&G with Leslie S3's. There are numerous photos available on the web showing various horns in use on 9451 in its IC/ICG/IC years. From a Leslie S5 to a Nathan P3. 9450 looks to have kept it's Leslie S3 and it's life on the IC/ICG was shorter, having been scrapped after a wreck.  Depends on which one you're interested in and the time period for sure. The Nathan P3 was IC's horn of choice for most of it's freight locos and the P5 for its passenger power, but after the merger with GM&O lots of Leslie's became available for swaps. There are of course, exceptions.
