Try Craigs List or Ebay.  Suggest you don't sell more than 5 items at one time.
Good luck

If you happen to be around Northern California, the upcoming August, 29th swap-meet at the Berkeley, CA Ace Hardware is an excellent place to sell equipment like this:

Good advice, but IMO right now, it's a buyer's, rather than a seller's market.

All depends on what you're selling.

You probably can look online at the usual E auction site and find equipment like you have to sell.  That will give you asking prices. For the run of the mill Athearn you might find more satisfaction giving it to the kid next door..if they even want it.
Prices are down for most items in N and HO.

I agree, but this time of the year is slow for the hobby too.

The monthly "Where do I sell my stuff" post aka I know where to sell it, just let me pretend I do not in hope people will contact me off list and buy it.

If you list the Bachmann and old Athearn blue-box stuff as "rare and collectible," triple your asking price.

From my experience, give it away.  If you can find a boys scout troop working on a merit badge or other youth group.  The last time I listed HO scale Kato and Atlas, I did so at really reasonable prices. I spent a lot of time and effort taking good quality pictures and emailing them out but never received any offers.  Subsequently, I won't even bother listing my used equipment.  I will donate it and use the write off instead.
