What Scale? What size rail?

I've done many diamonds in N Scale using Code 40 rail
and I just use a dremel tool with a cutoff disc, cut the basic angle,
then grind using the side of the disc. The rail is soldered into place
on PC ties and any obvious gaps are filled with solder and filed to
clean it up!

Eyeball it and cut it close, dial it in with a file, and solder away.  The trick is to use an NMRA gauge and get the flange spacing perfect when soldering it.

I guess I'm making it harder than it is.

Great looking work. One problem, the cement truck backed over the rail with his left rear tires...

Steve

How do you know there are rails under the tires?

Larry
