Help with Westside/KTM serial numbers

I have an O-scale brass Big Boy by KTM, imported by Westside. The number on the box and on the frame is 3366. Is there any way to run that number down and find an approximate build date ?

About the number I do not know.
10 years ago, the president of KTM had said to remain all the record of models exported. I think there is a way that ask directly to Katsumi model shop.
The WSM/KTM models released in 1981, was written on the page 9 of July 1982 OSN magazine.
