Yep, it does snow in Texas.  5" of the white stuff fell on Dublin Tx many years ago giving a live steamer named Ed Leatherwood a chance to do something he had always wanted to do:  plow snow.   Ed had constructed a snow plow several years before this hoping to be able to use it sometime.

He called a couple of friends very early in the morning and they fired up 3 engines, two 2-6-0's and a 4-6-0.  They first tried to plow with two and kept spinning out.  So they attacked with 3 engines and had a lot more success.  Naturally a portrait of the occasion had to be made.
