Author: bxmoore On 30 June 2016, I was very fortunate to pay a visit to Bob Phelps' UP Green River layout in Axminster, East Devon, on its last day of operation. Bob is responsible for the genesis, design and production of the excellent PECO HO Code 83 track and turnouts (as well as a host of other things), and he and his wife Liz are retiring and relocating to France, to the classic "big basement with a house on top".
1: UP FEF-2 #829 was decorated by PECO staff for the final run. 2: Me and Bob (picture: Mike Hughes).
