Model Railroading > Renzenberger crew shuttle vansDate: 08/03/16 07:34 Renzenberger crew shuttle vans Author: atsf643 They are everywhere around modern day railroads.
When did they get their first contracts with major railroads? Has anybody been modeling these (in HO scale)? Truck models? Decals? Paint schemes other than white? Just asking. Jürgen Dietrichkeit Weilheim, BY Date: 08/03/16 10:41 Re: Renzenberger crew shuttle vans Author: Fredo They used to be a dark sort of metalic blue. The stick on decal on the door was a white rectangle with a grade crossing crossbuck with I think two sd 40 looking locomotives on an angle both pointing towards the center of the white rectangle. The Renzenberger name was printed on there along with Shawnee,Kansas. When you were sitting in the front seat drivers pulling alongside would look at the logo, then look up at you, then look straight ahead. Just like everyone does when a prison bus is alongside of your car. The same sticker was on the rear door along with a bumper sticker size one reading "Now hiring". There were no other markings or safety stripes.

They're always hiring. Of course a 50% turn over rate a year will do that. Thanks! Jürgen Dietrichkeit Weilheim, BY Date: 08/04/16 04:26 Re: Renzenberger crew shuttle vans Author: mkerner I have never seen decals or finished models for them. You would think someone would make Renzenberger, PTI, or Railcrew Express decals or models.
