Model Railroading > Reconstruction Progress - Delaware Valley TractionDate: 01/14/17 11:55 Reconstruction Progress - Delaware Valley Traction Author: birdman A lot of progress has been made this week on the Delaware Valley Traction Company reconstruction project.
1. Popsicle stick ties were glued in place where the new track will be located 2.Line poles for the overhead wire were erected, rail was hand laid on the new loop and sidings, two turnouts were constructed, and plaster was applied to create a short section of street trackage. 3. Span wires were hung. The old ruler has a mark showing the height of the span wires above the rail (9.5 inches).
