Freight car research question
Author: Jimmies

Is there a website that shows where Incentive per Diem freight cars ended up?  That is, for example, a site that might list where the boxcars from NSL or PHD went when they were sold off. I know about the rrpicturesarchives site, but it shows where the cars came from, which is kind of the opposite to what I would like to know.

It is an ebook, but Eric Neubauer's "Gunderson and FMC Railcar Production through 1984"has them.

Also, once you know the "lot" number, it can be easier to find the cars later on railcar photos.com, rr-picture archives, etc.
