How do you sign up for a table to display your work? I'm not seeing that on the website link. Thanks!

Looking forward to it Harry.

The great thing about this event is that you just show up with your models, choose an open spot on the tables and set up. There are plenty of tables and space so show up ready for viewing and showing great models.

Last year there was a $45 air fare from Kalispell, MT to LA but I did not see it in time. I wonder if I could be so lucky this year.

How much will it cost from LA to OAK, or SFO, OR SJ?  BAPM is close to 400 miles away.

Perhaps youre thinking of WPM?

Thanks, Larry. This is all California to me, the cities all run together. Now that you have reminded me of the difference perhaps I can pay more attention in the future. WPM = LA; BAPM = SF. Other than driving in CA traffic the 400 mile distance between cities might not be insurmountable for the cheap airfare. It is through Allegiant airlines. You only know about a month in advance which cities they will fly to the next month and which days they will fly. The cheap airfare may only be for one direction with the return costing much more. There may be several days between the outbound and inbound flights so you must be flexible. Too many nights in a motel waiting for the event or return flight can soon eat up all the savings.

If all the stars come together this can be a good thing for a retiree.

Right now I could fly Missoula to Oakland on the 15th for $72 and return on Sunday the 18th for $86. Way cheaper than driving.

Yes, BA for Bay Area. Back in the olden days when I lived in the golden state in the Davis/Sacramento area, we also referred to the greater San Francisco area as the "Bay Area". As a teen I made regular pilgrimages there and although I never wanted to live there, the city had a lot of charm and was a nice place to visit. Now here I am stuck in the greater Washington DC area and feel a similar pain as the folks in the bay area do, high cost of living and congestion!

Alas, too far away right now but do want to make it out that way in the next couple years and show my British wife my old stomping grounds.

Take lots of photo's!

Cheers, Jim Fitch

Get there!

I always have a great time, with loads of great modeling. The raffles are good, too. I'm never disappointed.

The highlight of Last years meet was the presentation on SP Sugar Beet Gons. Frank's instructions on scratch building the outside braced sides showed how easy it was to add a unique detail.
