When the stack train left there was a dense fog.  When the fog cleared the was 1961 not 1992!
The stack train has 4 five articulated cars and 6 single cars.  Total 26 cars and it make a nice long train.

Something from Star Trek?
 

I noticed the 1961 people at the depot in Pic #2 mostly have their backs turned and seem to be awaiting a passenger train to arrive.  In Pic #3 the two MOW poeple and the Santa Fe truck driver don't seem attracted yet.  Wonder what they all thought as the stack train passed a few moments later?  
In Pic #1 it seems to be another case.  Those people on the sidewalk seem to be more astounded, "What the heck is this passing through with the unbelievable sound on those locos?!!  I think this is an illusion and better go inside for another Scotch & soda!" 

Well done! However, I hope that PIE semi coming down the hill in the last picture isn't carrying "40,000 Pounds of Bananas". . .
