I have tapped some small holes 0-80, usually larger, and secured the coupler that way. Found it less of a hassle when having to remove the coupler. Drilling into an expensive brass engine can be scary.
Date: 03/12/17 20:15 Re: Kadee couplers Author: Frisco1522 I've been using No. 58s, snipping the end off,drilling a .025 hole through the shank and using a piece of brass wire to secure it. I make sure its located OK in the pocket before marking where to drill the hole in the shank.
